Take the lead as a Human Resources Business Partner with the County of Renfrew in Pembroke. The County of Renfrew is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to directly assist the Associate Director of People & Culture.
This full time position will involve guiding management on various HR aspects, such as labour relations and employee training programs. You will also offer HR support to the county’s municipalities, enhancing community engagement through effective HR solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in collective bargaining and interpretation of agreements
- Support recruitment and selection of diverse personnel
- Advise management on compliance with employment legislation
- Develop and implement training initiatives for staff
- Conduct workplace investigations and evaluations for pay equity Requirements:
- University degree or diploma in Business or HR
- At least four years of relevant HR experience
- Familiarity with HR laws and collective agreements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
