We are looking to fill one open position at our Edmonton West location. Candidates must be available to work full time, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5 pm. This position requires some heavy lifting and being on your feet for long periods. Safety shoes will be required.

Job Duties:

- Assist body shop suppliers & collision repair facilities with orders for automotive paint, paint related materials (sandpaper, putties, adhesives, detail supplies, safety items, tools, etc), and body shop equipment.
- Answer phone within 3 rings, manage multiple incoming calls, forward to appropriate parties
- Process purchase orders for all local purchases
- Complete customer returns in timely manner
- Assist salespeople with pricing, part numbers, quotes, etc
- Assist warehouse staff with any questions they may have
- Record and process all incoming orders as well as transfer requests from other branches
- Troubleshoot, problem solve daily situations
- Keep salesmen advised of back orders as they occur
- Participate in in-house training as offered as well as continuous self-study of product offering to expand product knowledge
- Work in warehouse as required: fill orders, shipping, receiving, inventory counts, warehouse cleanliness and organization, etc.
- Any other duties as required or assigned

Our Ideal Candidate:

- 2 years of previous order desk experience required in areas such as: parts, equipment, industrial, customer service, inside sales. Automotive specific experience is an asset, but not required
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Solid computer skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Explorer
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Above average communication skills. Able to deal with customers, salespeople, vendors and warehouse staff
- Sound problem solving abilities, must be able to think on your feet and handle difficult situations
- Deals effectively and professionally with issues that arise
- Good organizational & multi-tasking skills
- Customer service focused
- Able to work well in a team environment and demonstrate respect for co-workers

Working Conditions

- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
- Overtime as required
- Lifting or moving up to 50lbs may be required

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
