Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Part Time Registered Practical Nurse to join its dedicated team in East Gwillimbury. This position requires working from 7 am to 3 pm for 30 hours bi-weekly, providing high-quality, patient-oriented care. You will play a crucial role in implementing individualized care plans while collaborating with residents and families to ensure their well-being.

Key Responsibilities

Provide goal-directed, nursing care as per provincial standards
Conduct and update resident clinical assessments and care plans
Communicate effectively with residents, families,



and team members
Teach and mentor unregulated care providers in resident support
Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make updates

Requirements

Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse
Robust clinical knowledge and experience with seniors preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
