Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Part Time Registered Practical Nurse to join its dedicated team in East Gwillimbury. This position requires working from 7 am to 3 pm for 30 hours bi-weekly, providing high-quality, patient-oriented care. You will play a crucial role in implementing individualized care plans while collaborating with residents and families to ensure their well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide goal-directed, nursing care as per provincial standards
• Conduct and update resident clinical assessments and care plans
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members




• Teach and mentor unregulated care providers in resident support
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make updates
Requirements:
• Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse
• Robust clinical knowledge and experience with seniors preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
• Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
