Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our energetic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced restaurant environment while contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

- Prepare and portion ingredients for menu items, ensuring consistency and quality
- Cook dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and utensils
- Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures to ensure health standards are met
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Stock supplies and notify management of inventory needs or equipment issues
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service deadlines

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation,



cooking, or food service roles, preferably within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in meal presentation
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
- Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and kitchen staff
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary best practices
- A positive attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional food service experiences

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $17.75-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 48 per week
