NSB Omega is searching for an EH&S; Advisor for our MAJOR Oil & Gas Client in St. John's, NL.

Assignment DescriptionnKEY ACTIVITIES:

n

n
- Maintain and update EH&S; processes and procedures for production and wells activities
n
- Maintain and update the health and safety component of the management system documents
n
- Participate in the contract preparation and evaluation process
n
- Onshore administration of event reporting management processes including collating of statistics and key performance indicators
n
- Incident/accident investigations
n
- Assist with the coordination of the incident management and corrective action system
n
- Participate or lead inspections and audits of the offshore installations, marine support vessels and all contractor facilities
n
- Conduct contractor/operator meetings monthly to ensure EH&S; issues are addressed in a timely manner
n
- Travel offshore as required to support investigations, audits, ad hoc coverage, etc.
