VA Electrical Contracting Inc. is an electrical contracting company that does electrical work for Commercial Retail Grocery Stores in the Greater Toronto Area, Durham Region, and just outside of Toronto. We are seeking motivated, experienced, hardworking and energetic individuals to join our team.

We are currently hiring Licensed Journeyman Electricians to work at numerous sites across the City of Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

n

Candidates selected for employment must have the following:

n

-A valid G class driver’s license with a clean driving record

n

-Personal hand tools, safety boots, and safety gear

n

-Safety Certificates such as: Working at Heights, WHMIS, Aerial Platform Training

n

-Must live in the Durham Region Area, City of Toronto, or the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)

n

Responsibilities

n

n
- Install and connect power supply wiring, cables, conduit etc.
n
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems in electrical circuits
n
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs of electrical equipment and systems
n
- Evaluate customer requests and blueprints, repair customer issues, and present a description of work to other team members
n
- Perform work with accuracy and efficiency.
n
- Install electrical panels and other devices to provide power to electrical circuits.
n
- Install switches, receptacles, control devices, light fixtures, junction boxes, and cable accessories.
n





nSkills and Qualificationsn

n
- 1 years of experience as a Journeyman in commercial/project setting
n
- Valid Driver's Licence- Clean Driver Abstract Record
n
- Strong English Communication Skills in written and verbal
n
- Once approved the job position, a criminal record will be asked
n
- Safety Certificates to be up to date
n
