Muzart Music and Art School is looking for a Drum teacher, to join our growing school and team and be part of our success.

We hire our staff as part time employees (we pay CPP, EI, Vac Pay and Stat Holiday Pay). We are looking for someone that is fun, energetic to join us.

The successful candidate will:
Have or be in the process of completing a music undergrad degree
Experience is an asset but not a must
Excellent communication skills in order to relay information to parents
The ability to work independently and set up own lesson plans

At Muzart we handle your schedule, your class bookings and cancellations - You will not be expected to do any administrative work for maintaining your schedule. Join us to do what you do best which is teach and help students grow into their best artists.

Key Responsibilities




Deliver engaging piano lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
Prepare students for Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) examinations
Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student's needs
Track and communicate student progress to parents
Prepare students for recitals and performances
Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment

Qualifications

Required:
Currently pursuing or completed music undergraduate degree
Strong Drum performance skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently
Reliable transportation to Etobicoke location

Job Types: Part time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour

Education:
Secondary School (preferred)
