NSB Omega is searching for a Fabrication Lead for our Oil & Gas Client in St. John's, NL.

n

Qualifications Required

n
10+ years in the direct management of complex steel fabrication components.
Understanding of codes, standards, and recommended practices for marine construction in Canada.
Detailed understanding of fabrication methods (cutting, welding, testing, coating, etc.).
Ability to assess supplier capabilities and facilities.
Ability to create scopes of work and specifications for fabrication contracts.
Extensive in office experience supervising major fabrication works.
Solid commitment to HSE principles.
Ability to manage changes during fabrication safely and responsibly.
Effective interface between PMT and fabricators.
Registration/Membership in a relevant skilled association should be provided.
