Position: Retail Merchandising & Display Lead / Retail Merchandising & Display Associate

Location: Manotick, ON

We are hiring for two positions within our Retail Merchandising & Display team:

- Lead Retail Merchandising & Display Associate (Full-Time preferred)
- Retail Merchandising & Display Associate (Full-Time or Part-Time options available)

Both roles are 9-month contracts (May/June through mid-December) with the possibility of extension beyond the season.

Schedule

Full-Time:

- May-August: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–4:00pm
- September–December (Bazaar Sale Season): Wednesday/Thursday–Sunday, 9:30am–5:15pm

Part-Time:

- Minimum 3 shifts/week through end of October
- Minimum 1 shift/week through early December
- May-August: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–4:00pm
- September–December: Wednesday/Thursday–Sunday, 9:30am–5:15pm

The Workspace

- No public transit—reliable transportation required
- Seasonal temperature conditions (hot in summer, cold in winter; fans and heaters provided where possible)
- Small, collaborative team environment
- Physical work: must be comfortable safely lifting up to 20 kg regularly

The Role

Are you passionate about visual merchandising and creating exceptional in-store experiences? Do you enjoy hands-on work designing and maintaining retail displays?

One World Bazaar is seeking a Lead Retail Merchandising & Display Associate and a Retail Merchandising & Display Associate to transform our seasonal retail spaces.

You will play a key role in:

- Designing, building, and maintaining visually engaging displays
- Stocking and organizing products to optimize presentation and sales
- Supporting other team members by training and sharing best practices for displays and store aesthetics
- Ensuring brand standards are consistently applied across the retail space
- Preparing the store for seasonal openings and transitions

Primary Responsibilities

Visual Merchandising & Store Presentation

- Lead or assist in creating and maintaining visually appealing displays




- Ensure product placement and layout are organized, intuitive, and customer-friendly
- Maintain accurate signage, pricing, and product information
- Support seasonal setup and teardown of the store
- Document and share merchandising processes to support team consistency

Inventory & Stock Organization

- Receive, tag, price, and stock merchandise
- Maintain organized stock and storage areas
- Track high-demand items and assist in inventory planning

Leadership & Team Support (Lead Role)

- Mentor and support other Display Associates on best practices
- Communicate and implement process improvements for store presentation
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment
