Welder Apprentice (2nd or 3rd Year) — Alloy Industries | Grande Prairie, AB

Alloy Industries is looking for a driven, skilled 2nd or 3rd year welding apprentice to join our growing team. If you take pride in your craft, sweat the details, and want to work on challenging, varied projects — we want to hear from you.

We work across custom fabrication, heavy truck and trailer repair, and oilfield support, so no two days look the same. You'll need to bring the skills and the mindset to match.

What You'll Be Doing

- Custom sheet metal work and fabrication
- Heavy truck and trailer repair and modification
- Custom welding fabrication projects from concept to completion
- Portable/field welding as required
- Equipment repair and maintenance with an emphasis on quality and safety
- Working independently and alongside a tight-knit team

What You Bring to the Table

- 2nd or 3rd year welding apprenticeship status
- Spool gun and TIG welding experience
- Mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail
- Extensive repair experience, ideally on heavy equipment




- Skid steer knowledge
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence - 3 years min experience
- Oilfield safety tickets (H2S Alive, First Aid, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Leadership qualities and accountability
- Must be local to Grande Prairie, AB
