Kingsway Eye Care Family Optometry is a modern, full-scope optometry clinic dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care through advanced technology, clinical excellence, and personalized service.

We are currently seeking an Optometric Assistant / Patient Services Coordinator to join our friendly, professional, and patient-focused team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and is eager to grow within the field of eye care.

Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional customer service in person, by phone, and electronically
- Schedule and coordinate appointments for seven Optometrists, Vision Therapy services, and Dry Eye Therapy treatments
- Assist with in-office Dry Eye Therapy treatments (training provided)
- Support patients throughout their visit with professionalism, care, and attention to detail
- Manage patient records, inquiries, and administrative tasks accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily clinic operations
- Adapt to evolving clinic needs and workflows

Qualifications

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional, friendly, and patient-centered approach
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Comfortable learning new technology and software systems
- Strong computer proficiency,



including Microsoft Word, Excel, and typing skills
- Interest in healthcare, wellness, and patient care
- Previous administrative or medical office experience preferred

Job Details

Job Type: Part time
Schedule: 3-4 8-hour shifts per week, including occasional weekends
Location: In person – Etobicoke, ON

Requirements

- Secondary School Diploma
- Minimum 1 year of administrative experience
- Ability to reliably commute to Etobicoke, ON
