Title: Clinical Pharmacist Specialist
Salary: $113,333 - $131,643 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 8am- 4pm
Location: Metro Vancouver located on the unceded traditional territories of the x?m??k??y??m (Musqueam), S?wx_wú7mesh (Squamish), and s?lilw?ta? (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations
Bargaining Unit: PIPSC BCFNHA Group (Qualified Institute of the Public Service of Canada)
About The Role Clinical Pharmacy Specialist advancing safe, effective, and evidence based medication use in First Nations communities. Acts as an expert practitioner, consultant, educator, and analyst across FNHA nursing stations, health centres, and primary care sites.
Provides client centred pharmaceutical care, identifying and resolving drug therapy issues while supporting policy, research, and quality improvement. Oversees the FNHA medication formulary and IV Baxter Drug Library to strengthen medication safety in remote and community settings.
About You Education
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy
Occupational Certification
- Licensed or eligible for licensing as a Pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of British
Experience
- Completion of Year 1 and Year 2 of a CPRB accredited Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Minimum two (2) years of related hospital pharmacy experience, including one (1) year in a designated specialty area.
