I'm looking for someone to help me out with my homecare. I'm a queer and non-binary person with a traumatic brain injury who is currently bed bound. This will be a casual position without fixed hours where you can pick up shifts my primary worker is unable to cover. The work is relatively low stress.
The average shift is 3 hours long and is located in the downtown area.
Current wage is $20.00 an hour + 4% ($0.80) vacation pay.
The "interview" is a casual virtual or in person meeting.
Some of the work home support may include are listed below.
Communicating/check-ins
Cleaning
Cooking and meal preparation
Helping ambulate
Assistance with some chores
Personal care
Documentation/note-taking as applicable
Coordinating with the other employee
Helping maintain a protected setting (for both of us)
Helping with personal finances, etc

Pay: $20.00 per hour
