Location: French Creek (near Parksville, BC)
Full-time | 3–6 Month Project | 9–10 Hour Shifts
JPD Staffing is currently looking for 2 Confined Space Monitors to support an upcoming project in French Creek. This role will focus on monitoring confined space access and ensuring safe entry and exit procedures, with additional general labour duties when confined space work is not active.
Responsibilities:
Monitor confined space entry and exit points
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations
Maintain transparent communication with workers inside confined spaces
Complete required safety documentation
Assist with general labour tasks as needed on site
Requirements:
Valid Confined Space Monitoring Training
CSTS (Construction Safety Training System) certification
SiteReadyBC certification (or willingness to obtain)
Previous construction or labour experience preferred
Strong attention to safety and communication skills
Reliable and able to work long shifts (9–10 hours)
