Job Overview
We’re looking for a skilled Electrician with 3-5 years experience in maintenance to join our team. Candidate will report to the Maintenance Manager. They will be responsible for the fine tuning, change over and rebuilding of all food processing equipment, and general maintenance of the plant. Experience in the food industry is an asset with familiarity regarding Food Safety and audit requirements. The elimination of breakdowns is of prime importance.

Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in industrial setting.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure the reliability of electrical systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Install electrical panels, light fixtures, switches, conduit and wiring systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems using testing devices.
- Provide support in facility related projects and preventative maintenance tasks, bearings, belts, chains, etc.




- Identify and support continuous improvement effort with Production Manager
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in electrical work.
- Follow TCF’s health and safety rules, policies, work instructions and SOPs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area;
- Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

- Valid electrician license
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, blueprints, and safety standards
- Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems
- Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications;
- Ability to work in a moderate to cold working setting;
- Ability to remain flexible and adapt to fluctuating work requirements;
- Ability to work overtime and weekend as needed to complete all assigned tasks/duties
- Strong preventative maintenance and troubleshooting ability

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $38.00-$40.00 per hour

Education:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)
