Leaps & Bounds Children’s Centre is a licensed, non-profit childcare centre

with 3 locations in Arnprior and Renfrew.

The Arnprior Location is based out of AJ Charbonneau Public School on Baskin Drive Arnprior.

We offer Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten and School Aged Programs.

We are currently looking to hire for an existing position that has come available:

Registered Early Childhood Educator or Equivalent -TA position

our School Age program

Beginning Monday June 1, 2026.

Hours are 7:00-9:30 & 2:30-5:30, Monday – Friday

7.5 hours/day on PA Days, Summer Break, etc…

The rate of pay is $21.73-$28.00 per hour for qualified candidates (inclusive of all wage grants for qualifying hours) plus 4% holiday pay.

REQUIREMENTS:

- R.E.C.E. in positive standing with the College of E.C.E. for the Early Childhood Educator Positions

- Experience working with children in a quality, licensed, integrated childcare centre setting.

- Current Standard CPR/First Aid (C) plus AED,





- Proof of up-to-date immunizations.

- Current Vulnerable Sector Check required, within 6 months

- DSW, RECE, or other educational background considered an asset for Teacher’s Assistant Positions

- Experience with children with special needs considered an asset.

- Reliable, energetic, and team player.

- WHIMIS, AODA, CCEYA, ANYPHYLAXIS CERTIFICATES (we can help a successful candidate secure these certifications).

- Knowledge of CCEYA and HDLH
