Bobier Villa is a 57-bed long-term care facility nestled in the community of Dutton in the Municipality of Dutton/Dunwich, just 20 minutes west of London, Ontario. Bobier Villa offers 24-hour nursing care, private and basic accommodation, sitting areas, expansive gardens, a large water feature, and gazebos. Whitelock Place serves as a gathering area for residents, family members and guests and hosts a wide variety of recreational and spiritual programs in a beautiful home-like setting

Position Title: Housekeeping/Laundry Aide

Type: Temporary, Part-time during summer months

Compensation: $27.11 per hour

About The Role Our Housekeeping/Laundry Aides perform cleaning operations designed to keep the Home in a clean, neat and tidy condition at all times and in accordance with established preventative maintenance and procedures. This includes, but is not limited to, dusting, mopping cleaning walls/floors/windows/doors, maintaining carpets, cleaning resident living corridors and washrooms, all while working in a manner and with the protective devices, measures and procedures required by the County of Elgin and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations.

Qualifications

- Good communication skills
- Experience in institutional housekeeping preferred
- Proof of enrollment in a full-time post-secondary program in Fall 2026
