Langdon Veterinary Clinic is looking for a compassionate, reliable Veterinary Receptionist / Technologist Assistant to join our close‑knit, supportive team. Located in Langdon, a welcoming small community just east of the city, our clinic values teamwork, kindness, and excellent care.

This is a energetic role combining front‑desk client service with hands‑on support in the treatment area, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and being an integral part of a general veterinary practice.

Responsibilities

Reception & Client Care
Greet clients and their pets in a friendly, professional manner
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with inquiries
Process payments, invoices, and maintain accurate client records
Provide basic pet care information and direct medical concerns appropriately
Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming

Technologist Assistant Support
Assist veterinarians and technicians with animal handling and restraining
Prepare and clean exam rooms; restock supplies
Support diagnostic procedures (blood draws, radiographs, sample collection) as directed




Clean and maintain equipment, kennels, and treatment areas
Provide compassionate care to hospitalized patients, including feeding and monitoring

Qualifications
Previous veterinary clinic experience an asset, but not required
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask in a quick‑paced environment
Comfortable handling animals of all sizes and temperaments
Basic computer skills
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods

Job Details
Job Type: Full‑time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday ( Occassional Saturdays)
Language Requirement: French not required
