Langdon Veterinary Clinic is looking for a compassionate, reliable Veterinary Receptionist / Technologist Assistant to join our close‑knit, supportive team. Located in Langdon, a welcoming small community just east of the city, our clinic values teamwork, kindness, and excellent care.

This is a dynamic role combining front‑desk client service with hands‑on support in the treatment area, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and being an integral part of a general veterinary practice.

Responsibilities

Reception & Client Care

- Greet clients and their pets in a friendly, professional manner
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with inquiries
- Process payments, invoices, and maintain accurate client records
- Provide basic pet care information and direct medical concerns appropriately
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming

Technologist Assistant Support

- Assist veterinarians and technicians with animal handling and restraining
- Prepare and clean exam rooms; restock supplies
- Support diagnostic procedures (blood draws, radiographs, sample collection) as directed
- Clean and maintain equipment,



kennels, and treatment areas
- Provide compassionate care to hospitalized patients, including feeding and monitoring

Qualifications

- Previous veterinary clinic experience an asset, but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a quick‑paced environment
- Comfortable handling animals of all sizes and temperaments
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods

Job Details

- Job Type: Full‑time, Permanent
- Schedule: Monday to Friday ( Occassional Saturdays)
- Language Requirement: French not required
