Coastal Rides is expanding across British Columbia and we’re looking for a Local Operator / Lead Driver to help strengthen and grow service in Duncan, Nanaimo, Ladysmith and Victoria.

This is a flexible, local leadership role focused on improving ride availability, supporting drivers, and building community partnerships.

What You’ll Do
Help ensure reliable ride coverage in Duncan, Nanaimo, Ladysmith and Victoria
Support driver recruitment and onboarding
Act as a local point of contact for drivers
Build relationships with hotels, resorts, and local businesses
Promote Coastal Rides locally (social media, word-of-mouth, partnerships)

Provide feedback to improve service and systems

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
More rides successfully completed — fewer missed trips
A small, reliable group of active drivers
Recent drivers onboarded and actively completing trips
Improved rider experience and repeat usage
Increased local awareness and partnerships

Compensation
2% of all net fares in Duncan, Nanaimo, Ladysmith and Victoria
+1% from drivers you onboard and mentor

Performance incentives can bring total earnings up to approximately 5%.

Typical Earnings Potential





$4,000 – $8,000+/month total when also driving on the platform

This role scales with the market — stronger service = more rides = higher earnings.

Pay: $30.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 60 per week
