In this temporary role, you will work under the Hospice Residence Manager, assessing patient needs and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Your hands-on care will focus on personalizing treatment plans that consider the emotional and physical aspects of caregiving. Key Responsibilities:
• Implement individualized care plans tailored to patient needs
• Administer medications and perform advanced wound care
• Identify and manage complex palliative symptoms
• Support families' understanding of the dying process
• Lead orientation efforts for new employees
Requirements:
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• Recent Police Record Check required
• RPN registration with Ontario's College of Nurses
• At least three years in community palliative or oncology nursing
• Strong commitment to ethical care practices
