About PSI

PSI is a full service asphalt paving contractor based in Sorrento, BC. We run a tight, experienced crew on driveways, parking lots, subdivisions, and roadwork projects throughout the Interior. We pay well, run good equipment, and expect the work to match.

The Role

We’re hiring an **experienced roller operator only**. This is not a training position. You should already know how to read a mat, manage rolling patterns, and hit density without leaving marks, dips, or cold joints behind.

Requirements

- Proven experience operating combination (combi) rollers, vibratory drum + pneumatic

- Experience rolling driveways, parking lots, and roads (residential, commercial, and municipal)

- Strong understanding of compaction patterns, rolling temperatures, and mat behavior

- Able to work independently and adjust to mat conditions, mix design, and weather

- Valid driver’s licence; Class 3 with air an asset

- Willing to travel daily across the corridor and occasionally stay out of town





- Reliable, on time, and clean on safety

What You’ll Be Doing

- Breakdown, intermediate, and finish rolling on a range of jobs

- Working alongside our paver operator and screed crew to hit spec

- Maintaining your machine — daily checks, greasing, water system, basic troubleshooting

- Helping the crew when rolling is caught up — we work as a team
