nGarage Doors Elora is hiring a full-time Garage Door Technician to join our growing team.n

We are a family-owned garage door, overhead door, and loading dock company based in Elora, Ontario. We service residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural customers throughout Elora, Fergus, Guelph, Kitchener-Waterloo, Elmira, Orangeville, Rockwood, and surrounding areas.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is mechanically inclined, reliable, professional with customers, and willing to learn. Experience with garage doors, overhead doors, loading docks, construction, welding, or mechanical repair is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.

About the Role

nAs a Garage Door Technician, you will help install, repair, and service residential garage doors, commercial overhead doors, garage door openers, loading docks, trailer restraints, rolling steel doors, and related equipment.n

This job is physical, technical, and different every day. You will be working with tools, ladders, scissor lifts, service vehicles, springs, cables, operators, tracks, rollers, hinges, and commercial door systems.

Responsibilities

- Install and repair residential garage doorsn
n
- Service and install commercial overhead doorsn
n
- Work on garage door openers and commercial operatorsn
n
- Assist with loading dock and trailer restraint repairs/installationsn
n
- Diagnose issues with springs, cables, tracks, rollers, hinges, doors, and operatorsn
n
- Complete work safely, cleanly, and professionallyn
n
- Communicate clearly with customers and the officen
n
- Keep tools, parts, vehicles, and job sites organizedn

n
- Follow company safety proceduresn
n
- Represent Garage Doors Elora professionally on job sitesn
n
