Leilani’s Hope, a non-profit Canadian charity located in Waterloo Region, Ontario, is looking to hire an IT Specialist to maintain its website (including making changes to its look and feel as designed by our marketing team or posting information as required), maintaining the registration of the organization’s domain address and setting up domain emails for its volunteers, and providing any additional technical support while ensuring the security of the systems we use.
n
Microsoft 365 hosts our emails and the applicant should be familiar with this software and be able to manage any tickets created for Microsoft Technical Support, when necessary. We also use WhatsApp for general and team chats and Trello for workflow coordination tasks. The IT Specialist would set up access for recent persons joining Leilani’s Hope while removing access for those who move on from the organization on a timely basis.
n
Planning tasks and executing them by the deadlines given is important in this role.
n
We are a volunteer organization in Waterloo Region that helps at-risk children and families who have been subjected to abuse and experienced trauma. If you share our passion and have some time to support our IT needs, we would love to hear from you.
n
The time commitment for this position is not exhaustive and can be very rewarding. There may be times where the IT needs are minimal and other times where a project plan will require more hours as it comes together.
