Could you be the full‑time MMIS Performance Analyst in Finch, ON?

Your future role
nThe MMIS Performance Analyst collects, analyzes, documents asset management software‑derived data and communicates the information both internally to local BT O&M; levels and to the client, Crosslinx Transit Solutions (CTS). The role conducts root‑cause analysis, identifies process gaps and opportunities to achieve best practice, drafts recommendations for management including data visualisations, and promotes the achievement of asset management performance results. The Analyst facilitates asset management plan development and interacts regularly with management to inform and build internal and external performance measurement reporting. The MMIS Performance Analyst will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the MMIS system, focusing on data integrity, customer interface management, and training/ongoing support for end‑users.n
You’ll specifically take care of
n
n
- Collect, analyse, document, and prepare internal and client reports on performance measures to evaluate how effectively BT O&M; is meeting schedule maintenance targets and asset management goals and objectives.
n
- Analyse KPIs not performing at target to discover and document the root cause and applicable business processes impacted.
n
- Act as the Key User between Alstom and our customers in terms of MMIS and related customer interfaces.
n
- Support local business processes related to the MMIS, outside of the customer interfaces.
n
- Manage master data objects in the MMIS and continuously ensure data integrity.
n
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) of the MMIS, customer interfaces, and other related applications.
n
- Be responsible for error monitoring and handling of MMIS and related customer interfaces.
n
- Maintain a strong understanding of the links between Alstom MMIS applications and their connection with the customer’s MMIS.
n
- Provide continuous training to Alstom end users for the MMIS and customer interfaces; manage all documentation and training related to the MMIS and its interfaces.
n
- Submit service requests on behalf of end users for MMIS account management.
n
- Conduct incident management with escalation, as needed, to resolve MMIS issues that may arise.
n
- Manage system‑required planned and unplanned outages and prepare for degradations when the MMIS is unavailable.
n
- Use business automation tools within and outside of the MMIS (e.g. WinShuttle) to facilitate uploads of larger data sets.
n
- Prepare and communicate performance analysis results and recommendations to management using reports, tables, graphs, PowerPoint presentations, and other techniques to support audience understanding.
n
- Conduct data quality checks to retain BT’s credibility and enable management to have accurate data to resolve maintenance operations problems, maximise service reliability, and minimise cost.

- Lead efforts to mitigate data quality risks by improving data collection processes.
n
- Communicate with management, employees, and the client to assist in the development and enhancement of performance measures, sharing methods and results to create organisational learning.

Education

- College diploma in computer or data science, or a related field.

Relevant experience required
nn
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience involving MMIS applications, analytical problem‑solving, metric development, and data modelling.
n
- Expert skill level in SAP software applications, and experience with Microsoft Office software applications.
n
n
Specialised or cross‑functional knowledge required
nn
- Experience in the transit/transportation industry is considered an asset.
n
