- Job Description: The Public Health Inspector assists in the planning and delivery of public health inspection services. Public Health Inspectors are required to exercise considerable independent judgment in the course of a diverse program delivery. Program aspects include extensive legislation application and enforcement; health hazard assessment and abatement, communicable disease prevention and investigation, health promotion and education.
