aGRO Systems Inc is excited to be expanding its team and adding Ranch Site Assistant Manager! This position has growth opportunities

We are a small farm with a big vision! We run a zero-waste farm, utilizing spent grain byproducts as our feedstock and looking for new and innovative ways to progress our ranch forward and help our neighbours in the process.

There are three aspects of this position:

- The first aspect is working in operations and administration of our Beer to Steer Waste Removal Division (along with managing other staff). This division re-purposes beer by-products from the brewing industry into livestock feed (rather than the by-products going to the landfills or underutilized as a compost).
n

nJob tasks will include managing the communications of the team’s operations, driving truck and trailer, operating straight box trucks, executing manual labour of waste collection/feed acquisition, and of course engaging with both our brewery and farmer clients. Driving for collection and delivery of feed product/ingredients will be required in this part of the role.nn
- The second aspect of this position includes assisting in ranch operation activities on aGRO’s farm acreage. This will include washing and maintaining operating equipment and inventory. In addition, it will involve aiding in farm upkeep with the execution of livestock/poultry feeding, fence building, equipment maintenance, and gardening.

- The third aspect of this position includes assisting the CEO and Management where/when needed. As experience is acquired and efficacy is proven,



this part of the role will also include leading all operations while management is away on special events, vacations and/or meetings. Additionally, this part of the role includes running promotional events with other employees and completing small errands for the company as needed. Lastly it includes miscellaneous administrative tasks in safety compliance, scheduling, carbon tracking, supply purchases/sourcing, and receipt submissions for accounting.

- Start of Shift begins in Carstairs, Alberta (Farm is 8 mins southwest of the town)

- Some travel for shift starts may be required occasionally (mainly to Calgary or Edmonton for research and/or events).

nJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentnPay: $17.73-$20.00 per hourn

Expected hours: 3 – 40 per week
