Alberta Hardwood Flooring is looking for a detail-oriented Estimator to join our Calgary team. This is a great chance for someone with 2+ years of estimating or construction experience, or a motivated individual we can train who brings strong character, work ethic, and attention to detail.

You’ll be working in a fast-paced, in-office environment alongside a friendly, experienced team, many of whom have been with us for over 10 years.

Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints and scopes of work
Prepare accurate flooring estimates from scale drawings
Work closely with customers’ estimating teams and internal project managers
Communicate with product reps and clients to gather project details
Track construction schedules and timelines

Requirements
2+ years of estimating or related experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints and perform material takeoffs
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills




Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

Assets (Not Required)
Experience with takeoff software (RFMS Measure, FloorRight, On-Screen, etc.)
Knowledge of flooring products (hardwood, carpet, laminate, LVP/LVT, tile, Schluter systems)
Understanding of material waste and layout planning

This is a full-time, in-office position in Calgary. You’ll play a key role in setting projects up for success by delivering accurate, timely estimates and collaborating closely with both customers and internal teams.
