Duties:
Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner
Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
Deliver orders to tables and ensure customer satisfaction
Provide excellent customer service throughout the dining experience
Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
Handle cash transactions and process payments using POS system
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
Follow food handling and sanitation guidelines
Skills:
Cash handling: Ability to accurately handle cash transactions and provide correct change
Food handling: Knowledge of safe food handling practices to maintain food quality and prevent contamination
Upselling: Ability to effectively promote menu items and encourage customers to make additional purchases
POS (Point of Sale) system: Familiarity with using POS systems for order entry, payment processing, and generating receipts
Hospitality: Robust interpersonal skills to provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers
Math: Basic math skills for calculating bills, tips, and making change accurately
Kitchen:
Understanding of kitchen operations to effectively communicate with kitchen staff and ensure order accuracy
Customer service: Excellent communication skills to interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner
