Duties:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver orders to tables and ensure customer satisfaction
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the dining experience
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
- Handle cash transactions and process payments using POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Follow food handling and sanitation guidelines
Skills:
- Cash handling: Ability to accurately handle cash transactions and provide correct change
- Food handling: Knowledge of safe food handling practices to maintain food quality and prevent contamination
- Upselling: Ability to effectively promote menu items and encourage customers to make additional purchases
- POS (Point of Sale) system: Familiarity with using POS systems for order entry, payment processing, and generating receipts
- Hospitality: Strong interpersonal skills to provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers
- Math: Basic math skills for calculating bills, tips,
and making change accurately
- Kitchen: Understanding of kitchen operations to effectively communicate with kitchen staff and ensure order accuracy
- Customer service: Excellent communication skills to interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner
