Overview
Warman Truss is looking for reliable and hard-working individuals to lead a group of individuals on our fast-paced assembly line. We are a production facility that produces custom made trusses, floors and prefabricated walls for garage, residential, farm and commercial buildings.
Duties
- Lead and support a team in constructing wall panels, frames, and components using nail guns, saws, staplers, and measuring tools, following blueprints, cut sheets, and jigs.
- Assign daily tasks, monitor workflow, and ensure production targets and deadlines are met.
- Oversee layout of components, stock plates, and preparation of wood or metal materials prior to assembly.
- Inspect work in progress and finished products to ensure compliance with structural, quality, and safety standards.
- Provide hands-on guidance, coaching, and training to team members to improve efficiency and workmanship.
- Ensure proper loading, banding, and staging of finished materials for shipment.
- Enforce company safety policies, conduct safety checks, and address unsafe behaviors or conditions immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment; ensure tools and equipment are properly used and maintained.
- Report production issues, equipment malfunctions, and material shortages to management promptly.
- Collaborate with supervisors, quality control, and other departments to optimize workflow and resolve production challenges.
Requirements
- Previous experience in framing, carpentry, construction, or manufacturing required; leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production documents.
- Strong hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, air nail guns, and saws.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and manage a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Ability to lift 50–100 lbs repetitively and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Ability to stand for extended periods; structured breaks provided to mitigate fatigue.
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- High level of manual dexterity to ensure precise fit and alignment of components.
- Forklift certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain).
Work Environment:
- Generally loud, dusty, manufacturing environment that requires Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like hard-hats, hearing protection and steel toed boots.

Must be permanent resident of Canada.
Hiring for
- Day Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am-2:00pm
- Evening Shift: Monday-Thursday 2:00pm-12:00am ($1.50/hr shift premium provided)
