Community Care City of Kawartha Lakes is seeking a student to join our organization in a full time capacity over the summer months. This role will provide support and assistance to team members across the organization on a variety of tasks and projects. The position reports to the Department Manager, and all responsibilities will be supported by appropriate training and supervision.

Primary Responsibilities

- Provide administrative support for project execution, including organizing materials and tracking progress for data- and SOP-related projects.

- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and suggesting efficiencies or enhancements to project processes.

- Perform other project-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Qualifying candidate of Canada Summer Jobs:

- Between the ages of 15 and 30

- Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act

- Legally entitled to work in Canada

- Experience working with volunteers would be an asset.

- Effective communication, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

- Proven organizational and time management skills.

- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Excel and experience in all Microsoft applications.

- Upon a conditional offer of employment, a clean Vulnerable Sector Record Check will be required.

WAGE

The wage for this exciting opportunity is $17.79 to $18.59. Selected candidates will be appropriately placed on the organizations wage grid based on skill,



knowledge and experience.*
