We are currently accepting applications for a Scheduler in our fast-paced Personal Support Services (PSS) program. In this role, you will provide client and staff scheduling and related support for PSS programs, which include personal care, homemaking, care coordination, and hospital-to-home services for seniors and adults with special needs across the City of Kawartha Lakes.
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, including the option to work from home (additional details will be provided). The successful candidate must be available to work every other weekend and on select weekdays as required to support operational needs.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Working in collaboration with the PSS Supervisors prepare staff and client electronic schedules and all related documentation for all areas of Personal Support Services
- Communicate schedules and schedule changes to staff and clients
- Provide prompt response to client and staff requests for schedule changes, episodic care, and changes to staff availability
- Receive and process referrals for service
- Process timesheets, expense claims and other program-related expenses to payroll/finance
- Maintain inventory of personal protective equipment and supplies for service staff
KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Post-secondary education in business administration as asset
- A minimum of two years experience performing similar work responsibilities, including electronic scheduling an asset
- Strong aptitude and proficiency in using computers, including Word, Excel, Outlook and database applications
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with AlayaCare an asset
- Demonstrated organizational skills and strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing conflicting priorities and tasks
COMPENSATION:
The wage range for this exciting opportunity is $20.80- $22.74. Selected candidates will be appropriately placed on the organizations wage grid based on skill, knowledge and experience.*
