Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Assistant to support our greenhouse IPM team. In this role, you will assist with monitoring plant health, identifying pests and diseases, and supporting biological pest control efforts in a greenhouse workplace.

Job Duties
Assisting the IPM team with scouting plants for pests and diseases.
Applying bios on plants with the IPM team.
Assisting the IPM team with pest counting cards.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Work schedule: the position follows a rotational schedule with holiday and weekend work shared with another team member. If a weekend is worked, time off will be scheduled during the week.
Must be able to work independently.
This position requires repetitive tasks, prolonged standing, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
The greenhouse is a hot and humid work setting.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $20.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:
Lambton Shores, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:
Greenhouse: 1 year (preferred)
