Ideal candidates will possess a university degree in planning or related fields, with 7 to 10 years of experience in community development. The role involves advising on planning and legislative changes, influencing community initiatives, and overseeing updates to zoning by-laws and official plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Building and Planning teams for effective service delivery
• Advise CAO and Council on development and planning risks




• Oversee updates to the Township’s Official Plan
• Drive long-term initiatives and community policy development
• Foster stakeholder relationships and enhance service delivery
Requirements:
• University degree in planning, engineering, or related field
• RPP, P.Eng., or CBO membership eligibility
• 7-10 years in public sector leadership roles
• Strong negotiation and project management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and GIS applications
