With over 25 years in business, we’ve proven to be a leader in the development and production of innovative and robust agricultural farm equipment. We have two production facilities in Ontario located in Glencoe and Thamesville.

Our products are manufactured in our Glencoe facility and then transported to Thamesville for final assembly and shipping. Penta is seeking a skilled and driven Manufacturing Engineer to play a key role in designing, developing, and continuously improving our manufacturing processes for agricultural equipment. This position serves as the critical link between product design and shop‑floor execution—turning engineering concepts into safe, efficient, repeatable, and cost‑effective production methods.

The successful candidate will be hands‑on, process‑focused, and passionate about operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement. Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, layouts, and workflows to improve efficiency, safety, and product quality Collaborate with Product Engineering to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability and assembly Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste,



cycle time, and production costs while improving quality Support production teams through training and troubleshooting of recent or modified processes and equipment Work closely with Process Planning to validate BOMs and routings for accuracy and efficiency Partner with Industrial Engineering to identify root causes of downtime and inefficiencies and implement corrective actions Lead the sourcing, installation, commissioning, and integration of current production equipment and machinery Ensure all manufacturing processes prioritize workplace safety, ergonomics, and regulatory compliance Degree or diploma in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting (agricultural or heavy equipment manufacturing is an asset) Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, automation, and equipment integration Proven experience driving process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, production, and planning teams Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is an asset #
