Westcan is currently seeking a Professional Class 1 Driver to join our team in Grande Prairie, with a focus on Hopper, Frac sand

What you bring:

- Minimum 2 years of commercial highway driving experience
- Super B, tanker and off-road experience are a strong asset
- chaining experience required
- Willingness to stay in the truck for duration of your rotation
- on site drug and alcohol screen, job abilities assessment, and company paid criminal check

If you reside in Grande Prairie, Peace River or surrounding areas

Work Schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off, slip seat required.

Good Operations Bonus – based on a 55 hour week

Attendance Bonus - based on 55 hours per week, the hourly equivalent earnings for a full attendance bonus at 5.77%

Total pay for regular hours

$35.85

Plus $2.35 for hours between 10 PM – 5 AM local time and on weekends





Chain up Premium – Flat Rate $50.00 paid to driver when chain up required to leave Peace River Mine Site only. Winter Months mandatory chain up in place.

Rotational positions (for out of area candidates) available

Rotation 6 weeks on 2 weeks off

Work Schedule: 70/36 hours, staying in the truck with resets on the road ($300 reset pay)
