Overview
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy machinery such as dozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, and caterpillar equipment. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform various construction-related tasks safely and efficiently. The Equipment Operator will play a vital part in ensuring project completion with precision and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Operate heavy equipment including dozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, and paving machinery
- Perform routine maintenance and mechanical checks on equipment to ensure optimal functioning
- Assist with horizontal drilling and other specialized construction tasks as needed
- Drive commercial vehicles to transport equipment and materials between sites
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
- Collaborate with team members to execute construction plans effectively
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans,



and technical manuals related to heavy equipment operation

Requirements

- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, and paving machinery
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and practices
- Ability to operate Caterpillar machinery and other major brands confidently
- Robust understanding of horizontal drilling techniques is a plus
- Prior experience in construction or related heavy industry is highly desirable
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy loads when necessary

Pay: $30.00-$36.00 per hour
