Grand Rapids School is a Nursery to Grade 12 school with approximately 440 students and is located in Grand Rapids, Manitoba, which is situated on the northwestern shore of Lake Winnipeg. The school serves the community of Grand Rapids and Misipawistik Cree Nation. This lakeside town offers community services such as cell service, high-speed internet, recreation centre, health center with ambulance service, air ambulance service, two gas stations, restaurants and a grocery store

WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor of Education Degree and preferably a Master's Degree in Education or related field and valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for)
- Manitoba Inclusive Education Teaching certificate or certification in progress
- Previous experience as a Resource Teacher
- Excellent understanding of current Manitoba curricula and differentiated instruction
- Knowledge and training in formal and informal assessment
- Familiar with appropriate educational programming
- Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life (considered an asset)
- Experience working in a northern community (considered an asset)
