The school serves the community of Grand Rapids and Misipawistik Cree Nation. This lakeside town offers community services such as cell service, high-speed internet, recreation centre, health center with ambulance service, air ambulance service, two gas stations, restaurants and a grocery store

nWhat You Bringn

- Bachelor of Education Degree and valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for)
n
- A sound knowledge of provincial curricula
n
- Previous teaching experience
n
- A sound knowledge and experience with school-based technology
n
- Robust classroom management skills
n
- Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life (considered an asset)
n
- Experience working in a northern community (considered an asset)
n
