Ride Automotive Group is hiring an experienced Assistant Corporate Controller to support our centralized accounting operations across multiple retail automotive dealerships.

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will play a key role in financial reporting, payroll processing, and dealership accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone with automotive accounting experience who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Process vehicle sale transactions and prepare commission reports
- Administer payroll, including salary and commission calculations, timesheet review, and flag hour verification
- Manage floorplan financing and unit payouts
- Perform monthly reconciliations for expenses, schedules, and balance sheet accounts
- Support month-end close and assist in the preparation of financial reporting
- Maintain vehicle inventory accounting, including stocking, dealer trades, and lien payouts
- Reconcile warranty statements and ensure timely remittance
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with internal controls and company procedures
- Crosstrain and support other administrative/accounting functions as needed

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in an automotive dealership environment
- Strong understanding of dealership accounting processes and workflows
- Working knowledge of payroll practices, including Ontario and federal compliance requirements
- Experience with CDK, ADP, and/or Payworks is considered an asset
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational ability
- Ability to manage deadlines,

Pay: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
