Job Description

Ride Automotive Group is hiring a full time Automotive Deal Clerk to join our corporate accounting team in Oakville. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with automotive dealership accounting experience who are detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

As a Deal Clerk, you will be responsible for processing vehicle deals, posting transactions, and supporting dealership accounting operations across multiple dealership locations ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities

- Post and reconcile automotive deals including retail, wholesale, fleet, and dealer trades within a centralized accounting process while accommodating store-specific procedures
- Create monthly commission reports for all sales consultants
- Process daily EFTs for funding, flooring payouts, and chattel transactions
- Maintain and reconcile inventory and floorplan schedules
- Ensure timely collection of all deal funding and receivables
- Maintain accurate sales journals and deal records for each assigned dealership
- Register warranties and process related documentation as required
- Prepare and remit payments for warranties, insurance, and aftermarket products
- Act as a liaison between dealerships operations and the accounting team for deal documentation. Work closely with Finance & Insurance (F&I;) Managers to resolve deal discrepancies
- Perform monthly inventory reconciliations and audits
- Follow up on outstanding deal items and ensure compliance and accuracy in all deal processing and record-keeping
- Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements





- 1–3 years of automotive dealership accounting experience
- Post-secondary education in Accounting (Diploma or Degree) is considered an asset
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Experience with CDK and/or 180 Dealer software is an asset
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and strong work ethic

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
