Engineering Manager Lithic isnhiring an Engineering Manager to lead the team building the nextngeneration of AI-powered program management tools. Program Servicesnis one of the most operationally complex surfaces in fintech —ndispute resolution, fraud monitoring, compliance oversight,ncardholder support, reconciliation — and it's almost entirelynunexplored territory for agentic AI. What you'll do
n
Leadnand manage a team of full-stack engineers, owning theirnperformance, growth, and overall teamnhealth
n
Own the technical vision for agenticnprogram management — defining where AI agents can take over manualnworkflows in disputes, fraud, compliance, and customer operations,nand building the roadmap to get there
n
Partnernclosely with product, design,
and Lithic's operations teams tonidentify automation opportunities and ship tools that meaningfullynreduce manual lift for customers and internalnteams
n
Drive engineering execution —nmaintaining velocity, managing scope, and holding a high bar forncode quality and operational excellence
n
Buildnand reinforce engineering best practices, leveling up the team'sntools, processes, and collectivencraft
n
Recruit, hire, and retain strongnengineering talent
n
Serve as a technicalnthought partner to cross-functional stakeholders across product,ndesign, and the broader engineering org
n
Whatnyou'll bring
n
Proven experience managingnsoftware engineering teams, with a track record of deliveringncomplex products in a fast-movingnenvironment
n
Genuine excitement about buildingnagentic systems — you've thought hard about where LLMs and AInagents fit (and where they don't) in high‑stakes, regulatednworkflows
n
Strong technical foundation — you'venshipped full-stack products and can credibly engage onnarchitecture, code quality, and technicalntradeoffs
n
Experience with modern web stacks;nfamiliarity with TypeScript, Node/Express, and frontend frameworksn(e.g., Vue or React) is a plus A clear pointnof view on what great engineering management looks like — hiringnwell, developing people, and building teamnculture The ability to balance speed andnquality, and to help your team do thensame

Strong communication skills and comfortnoperating across engineering, product, and businessnstakeholders

Compensation andnlocation The annual Canadian salary range for this role isnCA$232,000 – $333,000 plus equity. This salary range is inclusivenof several career levels at Lithic and will be narrowed during theninterview process based on the candidate's experience andnqualifications. This is a remote position. We do not offer visansponsorship or assistance.
