This pivotal role reports directly to the Chief Administrative Officer, playing a central part in legislative support and decision-making processes. Key responsibilities include executive filtration, preparing comprehensive briefs for leadership, and maintaining essential governance documentation. You will assist in policy development and support Council-related activities, ensuring clarity and compliance throughout.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the primary filter for the Office of the CAO
- Prepare concise briefs highlighting key issues and decisions
- Manage the CAO’s calendar and meeting logistics
- Ensure compliance with governance processes and legislation
- Support special projects and intermunicipal collaboration

Requirements
n
- Minimum two years in legislative or municipal operations
- Post-secondary degree in relevant field
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience assisting boards or committees
- Valid Driver’s License required In this role, you will ensure effective governance and support at the executive level for the Town of Coalhurst.
