Rodd Grand Yarmouth is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Houseman to join our Housekeeping team on a Part-time basis. As a Houseman, you will play a key supporting role in ensuring the overall cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the hotel. Your work will help create a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests across guest rooms and public spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Housekeeping team by delivering linens, towels, and supplies to guest rooms
Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping storage areas, carts, and supply rooms
Assist Housekeeping Room Attendants with heavy lifting, bed stripping, and removal of used linens and garbage
Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and staff areas
Ensure timely removal and disposal of waste and recycling from guest and service areas
Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly to the managers and Maintenance
Assist with seasonal setup and general property upkeep as required
Key Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is considered an asset, but not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace with solid attention to detail
Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Robust teamwork skills with a positive and qualified attitude
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
