In this role, you will serve a critical function reporting to the CAO, delivering high-level legislative support and advising senior administration. Your responsibilities will include triaging executive requests, preparing detailed briefs, and maintaining decision tracking systems. You'll also play a vital role in policy development and ensure legislative compliance through effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Triage executive requests for the CAO’s Office
• Create and manage pivotal briefing documents
• Coordinate travel and logistics for the CAO and Council
• Ensure adherence to governance processes and privacy laws
• Facilitate special projects to enhance governance
Requirements:
• Two years of experience in legislative positions
• Degree or diploma in Public or Business Administration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with municipal elections is a robust asset
• Criminal Record Check necessary
