Job Title: Cabinet Spray Painter

Job Description

This full-time Cabinet Spray Painter role offers the chance to work on high-quality residential renovation projects, focusing on interior cabinetry spray finishes. You will take pride in delivering clean, precise, and consistent finishes while working carefully and respectfully inside clients’ homes. Responsibilities

- Perform interior cabinetry spray painting on residential renovation projects, ensuring smooth, even, and consistent finishes.
- Prepare jobsites and surfaces thoroughly, including masking, protection, sanding, filling, and general prep work.
- Spray and paint cabinets, doors, trim, and related wood and painted surfaces using appropriate spray guns, coatings, and tools.
- Maintain high quality standards on every project and complete any required rework to meet those standards.
- Keep worksites clean, organized, and well protected throughout the project to respect clients’ homes and belongings.
- Use construction and carpentry tools, including power tools and tape measures, safely and effectively as needed for prep and finishing work.
- Collaborate closely with the crew to stay on schedule, coordinate tasks, and meet project deadlines.
- Work independently when required, managing your tasks and time to ensure consistent progress.
- Post clear, accurate, and relevant daily logs in BuilderTrend (job tracking software) to document work completed and keep the team aligned.
- Follow core values by acting with integrity, taking ownership of your role, and contributing to a positive, solution-focused team environment.

Essential Skills

- At least 1 year of interior spray painting experience, specifically in residential or similar environments.
- Strong understanding of coatings, prep work, and wood filler, including proper surface preparation for high-quality finishes.
- Hands-on experience with spray guns and spray painting techniques for cabinetry, doors, and trim.
- Solid paint prep skills, including sanding, masking, taping, and surface protection.
- Ability to read, measure, and work accurately using tools such as tape measures.
- Comfort and proficiency with construction tools and power tools used in paint prep and finishing work.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship, with a focus on clean, dialed-in finishes.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a crew, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to various residential job sites.
- Professionalism and respect for clients’ homes, maintaining a positive attitude on-site at all times.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Cabinetry painting or refinishing experience, particularly in modern residential renovations.




- Experience with exterior spray painting projects.
- Wall painting experience, even if not the core focus of the role.
- Experience in cabinet making, cabinet building, or carpentry.
- Experience working in a paint shop or wood finishing environment.
- Familiarity with BuilderTrend or similar job tracking and project management software.
