BGC Wolf Creek is seeking a Child and Family Therapist who is compassionate dedicated to fostering strong family connections by providing holistic support that addresses the emotional and relational needs of the child, youth and entire family unit.

nJob Responsibilities:nn
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of clients emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs to identify specific issues, strengths, and treatment goals.
n
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals tailored to the unique needs of each child and family.
n
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, or Family Systems Therapy.
n
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other family members to strengthen family relationships, improve communication, and resolve conflicts.
n
- Work with schools, community agencies, and healthcare providers to coordinate support services for clients and connect them to additional resources when needed.
n
- Document all assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required documentation in compliance with qualified standards and regulations.
n
- Participate in regular supervision, case conferences, and training to ensure high-quality, ethical care that adheres to current best practices in the field.

- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity while working with diverse clients

nQualifications and Requirements:nn
- Education: A graduate degree in social work, psychology, counseling,



or a related field. Equivalency may be considered. First aid certification is required.
n
- Licensing: Posses current registration with a relevant provincial and professional association.
n
- Experience: A minimum of two years experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a clinical or therapeutic setting.
n
- Commitment: Be able to commit to a one year contract
n
- Abiltiy to maintatin and safeguard your own records
n
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity while working with diverse clients.
n
- Transportation: Maintain a class 5 drivers license with a reliable vehicle to travel between service locations.
n
- Insurance: Provide insurance coverage, at their own expense and without limiting its liabilities, an amount of not less then, $2,000,000.00 inclusive per occurrence.

- 25-32 Hours Per Week September - June

- 10-12 Hours Per Week July - August

- 3-4 days a week

- $75.00-$85.00 Per Hour

- Mileage Reimbursement between locations
