We’re looking for a Coordinator, Construction Services who thrives in a fast paced environment, someone skilled in contract administration, communication, and risk management, ready to support a variety of infrastructure projects for our Client Partner. By becoming a DCC team member you will have the prospect to deliver infrastructure solutions to support Canada’s troops and the defence of the Country.

What You’ll Do
You’ll be the go‑to person overseeing a variety of construction, qualified services, and service contracts during all stages of construction. You’ll spend your days:n
- Leading Contract Administration :
Managing and administering construction and service contracts to ensure full compliance with requirements and quality expectations. Monitoring schedules, solving day‑to‑day issues, managing stakeholders, and contract communication.
- Driving Quality & Risk Management : Reviewing progress claims, negotiating scope changes, and interpreting contract documents with contractors, consultants, and Client Partners. Identifying and addressing contract risks within your delegated authority.
- Being the On Site Connector : Coordinating activities with site teams and other service lines. Maintaining detailed site records, photos, activity updates, and documentation that tell the project story. Ensuring health, safety, and industrial security requirements are met.
- Supporting Project Success : Coordinating consultant reviews and third party testing. Managing contract financials and supporting business development opportunities. Building strong, professional relationships across industry partners, Client Partners, and internal teams.
What You Bring
A blend of technical knowledge with solid communication and problem solving skills. You’re equally comfortable on a construction site or in front of a contract document, and you know how to keep projects moving forward.n
Your Background
A college diploma in engineering, applied science, or a related field, plus four years of relevant experience,
or an equivalent mix of training and experience. Certification such as Certified Engineering Technologist or P. Eng. is an asset.n
Your Knowledge & Skills
Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, legislation, and industry best practices. Expertise in project, contract, and risk management principles. Ability to interpret drawings specifications and use relevant software tools. A knack for building trust, giving functional guidance, and working effectively with cross functional teams.n
Where You’ll Work
You’ll spend time in a mixed environment. Time will be spent on active construction sites, so safety gear is part of the uniform, but also work from an office and occasionally travel as needed.n
